Elegy

ELEGY
Definition: sad and thoughtful poem of a death of a person

Example:
The curfew tolls the knell of parting day,
The lowing herd winds slowly o'er the lea,
The ploughman homeward plods his weary way,
And leaves the world to darkness and to me.

Significance: Allow you to express your feeling. If you can't express your feeling to someone, then write poems to express it.
